ok i am in need of some new seats for my 94 gt vert. i am 6'0 tall 280 pnds with a bad back. i need something really soft and comfy. what seat would you recommend for me. and where to get it from. oh yea i want something wide enough for my fat a$$
To be honest if you want comfort for all sizes you'd want to go find yourself some stock ones again not a good lumbar for a back though. TMI is going to be the closest thing you'll find to comfortable and aftermarket. http://www.tmiproducts.com/mustang/ Or you could go find some seats from a Lincoln, BMW, or any other high-end brand and bastardize them into the mustang haha.
http://www.sn95forums.com/showthread.php?61189-1994-2004-TMI-Sport-R500-Low-Back-Released/page16 Check out the Sport R from TMI on pg 16 of that list. Thats a SN Vert in the pics and probably what I will be adding to my vert in the future. They look comfy to me.
Well I can't recommend a seat but I can help narrow down the search. My corbeau GT2 seats are made for someone bare bigger then my skinny ass as they are tight on me(5'10" - 160lb on a good day). After posting my stock seats for sale for what seamed like for ever I finally said the hell with it and tore them apart and took the lumbar and the power seat track out of them and was actually able to fit the lumbar system fairly easily in the corbeau seats.
you can upgrade your SN front buckets to either a Mach, Bullit, 01 Cobra, 03-04 Cobra, or the new R500. My vote? 03-04 Cobra have the widest bolsters. But i'd say the R500 low back would be the most all around comfortable:
what year mustang seats will fit in a 94 vert i found a nice set in a 2010 vert just not sure if they will fit in my 94 vert.
You can make S197 seats fit in the SN95 but you'll have to do some minor fab work. white95 did it. No idea how to tag him in this to get his attention though, so may want to shoot him a PM.
I believe there is a company that makes adapter brackets to easily fit s197 seats into sn95s...cant remember their name though.
its easy you do it like this duh09 All you need to do is to put a "@" before someones name and it will notify them you did it on this post as it did you.
