I'm thinking about replacing my OEM leather seats, both sides are manual. Is it possible to put in a used OEM power replacement seat on the drivers side on the same track, if I don't care that the power part does not function?

As long as you keep the manual seat tracks I don't see why not.

I'm running manual seats now and the power harness just hangs out under there.

AFAIK, the harness to control the power seats should still be in the car. You just might need to install a fuse.

I believe he's right ^

My passenger seat was manual but still had the harness under it.

I put '00 in my 94. Bolts straight it, if I remember correctly it plugged straight in too?

If not its easy to change a plug.

Thanks again for the info. Found some 2004 seats at a salvage yard about an hour away via eBay, but with only one picture I want to talk to them about condition before I buy. They're dark grey but for the price they're going for I don't mind dying them black.

I know that seems expensive, but for my area that's actually affordable. Most of the sets I've seen have been around $800 or gone by the time I try to see them. I'll be lucky if there still available when I call on Monday.

Yeah, I've been watching for seats on CL since Feb, none so far. Maybe I should start looking at surrounding areas postings, maybe in North Carolina.

Damn that's high.. I got some black seats laying around.. If you weren't so far i would let you take front and back for 200..

Thanks, I wish I lived closer too! I have no idea why this area is so high in prices, maybe there is just so much competition that the sellers can support it. If I get an email from my local salvage yards that there is a new sn95 on the lot, by the time I get there there is usually a swarm of guys already cannibalizing the car - or it's already been picked through. I went yesterday and they only had 4 on the lot, and they were just skeletons.

Like I said, I've been watching the CH postings since Feb and since that time NO seats have been listed for sn95 at all. :angry7:
