so i am tired of my cobra.. seems like i spend more time fixing the dumb thing than driving it. i'm gonna paint it and fix everything that is wrong with it then sell it. i've also been wanting something else, an upgrade. i'm looking at 04 cobras or an sti. idk yet what i'm gonna get. any ideas on what else would be a good car in 20k range

true that twista and not really and it only has 80k miles on it! it shouldn't have this many problems. my gt had 100k more miles than this one and i rarely had problems and that one was more modded than this one.

So I dont get it, You paint it, and fix all the problems? why not keep it, and save up for a s/c and be fast??

Only advice I can offer you is this: Don't expect that subaru to be any less high maintenance than the 04 cobra. If anything they're more. And parts are higher, depending on what you need.

bradley- because i'm to the point where i have spent too much money on it that it sickens me just to see it broken down again. problem after problem with this car there has not been a month that this car has not had a problem. i'm tired of it, and if i keep it and it break down again after all that i would be so mad that i would literaly drive it off a cliff and not give a shit! i want to avoid all that. and plus i can afford an 04 cobra with the money i would be getting and some other money i have so its a win win situation

Thats how I feel about my 94 sometimes. Just fix it and keep it, you'll be more proud of yourself in the end. Maybe save up and get a dd so you dont have to drive your car all the time, it makes it that much easier to park the cobra when somethin breaks.

Look on the bright side... Ya fix everything, and eventually it'll be pretty much a new car. I've felt that way before, but not from small stuff. Small stuff breaks. You fix it, you move on.

i'm not saying small stuff like the throw out bearring went out again on the new clutch, fuel pump went out and other bull if it was small stuff i wouldn't care. i have a tight schedule so i don't have time to fix it. hell i i'm so busy that i haven't even had time to fix javi's spoiler.
