This has been on my mind awhile but those of you that have Sub-frame connectors, does exhaust get in the way or is that only with side exhaust?

Ive never heard of them interfering with any exhaust other than Side exhaust systems.

so with SFC is it impossible to have side exhaust or could you get one custom bent? Ive noticed that side exhaust systems always go in the muffler and come back out the same side as opposed to going straight through, is that for a reason? If i were to go side exhaust i would want the best flow possible, does the muffler have to sit in a certain spot?

there is a SFC that works with side exhaust, but it slips my mind right now.

If you have something custom bent from the Header/manifold back, you can put stuff wherever you like. THe reason the muffler's has the same side inlet/outlet, is to put the outlet in an advantageous place for the side exit to come out just behind the door, while still hooking to the factory midpipe, and not using crazy bends.

+1 you can custom bend piping, but the more bends the less efficient flow you're going to have. thats why the mufflers have it in and out the same side, so as to reduce the bends in the piping...

side exhaust and good flow dont go together its more of a style preference then a performance mod....because of the mufflers

SFC do not interfere with Exhaust that is rear exit.... SFCs DO interfere if you have Side exit

Spintech make a SFC to work with side exit...... but IMO, MM SFCs>Side Exit Exhaust
