Can the Pro-5.0 short shifter I have on my T-5 be used on a T-45. It seems like they advertise that it can, but wanted to make sure before I switch them.

I did a search on svtperformance and found the answer but also read a ton of review on how nice the mgw was, so i went ahead and order that with a new billet shift knob. haha. I went from trying to save some money and reuse my short shifter to spending $200.

The nicest thing I heard when reading the reviews was MGW's patent on a sound dampening piece in the shifter so you don't heard the gear whine in the transmission. I'm going to be doing some sound deadening to the interior, just to make it a solid quiet car. So getting rid of the gear whine would add to that. They also quote saying they have the shortest throw in aftermarket shifters.
