And eventhough I told my buddy I would call AAA and have them tow the car (since I have free towing) to the shop, they both insisted that it wasnt necessary.a month and a half later, he has it up on the lift at his work (he's a detail manager, not a mechanic), just to find out it had over $2000 worth of repairs/damage to the front end alone, including ball joints, control arms, tie rods, radiator and supports, among many other things... fortunately for him, he found a guy on Craigslist that had the majority of replacement stuff to repair the car himself, and he was able to trade it to him for a perfectly functional 96 (98?)
