It's less than I'd sell mine and I have similar miles. I don't know why it would have a ram hd clutch with no engine mods.
got any pics? and where is it located?
It might be a decent deal in the south but if it was in the salt belt I might think twice unless it was garaged all winter.

looks clean enough in the pic. I say go for it but it's not my money.
Is it teal or bright blue like mine?
I'll post up some pics for ya this afternoon when I get off work. If you do a search you might be able to find some that I posted this year.

Have it inspected first, and then you'll know if its worth the money. he may be selling it that cheap because it may need a ton of repairs that you cant see, like sensors, ball joints, hell without even firing it up, you dont know if it has an engine tick or anything of the sort. if the owner gives you ANY reason as to why "it cant be taken to get looked at", then walk away, no matter how "legit" his excuse sounds.

$2,450 is what they usually go for, with those mods i say its good deal (if the car if in good working order)

My bud sold his for $3,000 had a few mods, nothing like this car.
I say go for it, but remember its a high mileage car
expect to replaced stuff such as alternator-ac compressor.

Do make sure there are no leaks and run a carfax on it
if you get it do a tune up, air filter, change oil, plugs, cables, brakes etc, etc.........
Good luck!

any time you buy a car direct off a private owner, you should ALWAYS have it checked out at a shop first or by yourself if you are capable of doing so. no matter how sincere the person is, and how much he may appear as an "honest Christian guy, who would never hurt or rip off a fly", he's still trying to sell an item worth a few thousand dollars, and would probably say anything to see you hand him the money.

Yeah your better off wasting $75 dollars on a inspection then a Couple Grand :) If everything checks out. Offer him 2 G. I got my 94 GT for 1800. What he has done to it is basically normal :)

a buddy of mine bought a 91 SHO about 5 months ago. I went to take him over to pick it up, but I didnt have much interest in "looking at" the car myself, aside from the quick walk-around. he was certain that it was a great car, and the owner insisted that it was perfect besides the things you could physically see, like small spots of surface rust, and a tie rod and serpentine belt that he mentioned needed replacing.

the owner "gave us the excuse" that he couldnt have it taken to look at because the car wasnt insured, and wasnt willing to take the risk of it being driven on the road while the title was under his name. And eventhough I told my buddy I would call AAA and have them tow the car (since I have free towing) to the shop, they both insisted that it wasnt necessary.

a month and a half later, he has it up on the lift at his work (he's a detail manager, not a mechanic), just to find out it had over $2000 worth of repairs/damage to the front end alone, including ball joints, control arms, tie rods, radiator and supports, among many other things... fortunately for him, he found a guy on Craigslist that had the majority of replacement stuff to repair the car himself, and he was able to trade it to him for a perfectly functional 96 (98?) SHO.
