Most of the cars on turbomustangs spend more time on jackstands than they do out driving. Not to mention the fact that when you put another 150-200hp into a car not designed for it with a power adder things are GOING to break. Getting a set of ARP studs and new headgaskets is kind of counterproductive to the bolt on and go mentality of a supercharger. And just those things will not make a bulletproof forced induction vehicle. Again, lots more horsepower than stock=things breaking and you having to spend alot of money to replace them with aftermarket parts. I do agree that if its your only car then its not good to make into a project ESPECIALLY if you're gonna be driving it alot since gas prices are going through the roof as we speak. How about just doing some bolts ons first and then going from there? I used a piece of my college loan refund to buy a beater so I could tinker with my Cobra and not have to worry about it as my daily driver. My beater is a 94 civic del sol. Its got faded paint, a crappy sound system, its loud and rattles but damn if it isn't reliable and I can get upwards of 400 miles out of 10 gallons of 87 octane. I vote get a wicked beater and then mess with your stang.
