CMC would be fun I think, provided you have a group of sufficient size to have a good enjoyable race and a reasonably full field. I'd at least try it first. Who knows, you might out-drive half the other guys on the track even if they have more mods than you. (up to the class limit anyway)

They wouldn't even let me run in AIX because my car was backhalved, which was a joke anyway because those drivers were WAY better than me. I always ended up in unlimited-type classes, or even GT classes in SCCA. It's not much fun to run against a $150K Viper with 600 rwhp and tires the size of Texas.

It's not hard to own Handz. It's sort of like beating up a fat third grader and taking his lunch money.

Lol, at first when I seen it, I always thought you guys were just kiddin, but not so much....

So is that just like run what you have no limlitations? (aside from safety). Roadracing and autocross were the reason I had bought the mustang, but I still have not tried either...

Lol, you've bought a wrong car for those two.

But on serious note. HPDE is something you do to get familiar with the track, and vehicle before you get your license and start actual wheel to wheel racing. There is no classification, other than driver skill level, there are no prizes, and there is no such thing as HPDE regional championship. It's practice, until you are ready to complete.

I would just be in it for fun, so practice would be awsome for me. Lol, yea well I wanted something rwd, and almost everything in my price range would have been slower than my previous car was. I looked at some bmw's but I was still in highschool at the time, so on a part time pay that ain't happenin lol.

Not what i expected when i clicked on this thread. I was expecting should i sell the Stang and get this lightly abused Z06 not a bimmer :)

They do make sweet track rides so if it works better for you financially then go for it.

hahahahha, im not sure what hte e30 or whatever is but if it was me if you like the car keep it. If you like being different and being that guy in the white mustang thats great. just remember no matter what honestly you prob wont make money running the car so if its what your interested in driving, nd like being different.. then rock the mustang

e30 is just the chassis code for that older bmw

e30 whippin looks so hot

I would probably just keep whipping the stang...its something differant but its cool
