Should I trade?

So I have some 18x9 and 18x10.5 chrome Saleens on my car the tires on the back are almost brand new, but the fronts are completely bald and are down to the wires and that's why I haven't driven the car the past couple of weeks. I found a guy on a local forum that's willing to trade his 18x9 black 03 Cobras with 275/40/18 bgf kdw tires (pic of wheels at bottom) for just my Saleen rims and I can keep my back tires that are almost new. Only thing is though that the front tires have about 40%tread left and the rears have about 50%. I was wondering about how many miles of use I can get out of these tires? My car is a daily driver but I only drive to school and work, and I don't beat on it. About 16 miles of freeway and a little city driving a day.

are you trading to get the wheels or the tread? if the wheels go for it. 50% not abusing will last you long enough to save up for new tires without breaking the bank. if you like your wheels and just want free tires ehh its up to you.

Is that just based on the looks of the wheel or the value of the trade? I was planning to get rid of my Saleens anyway and was gonna get some deep dish black bullitts over the summer and throw the saleens back tires on the rear ones so I would only have to buy 2 tires for the front.

Ya I think I'm just going to keep my saleens for now. I'm not really feeling the all black rim look. The details of the wheel kind of disappear. Hopefully I get some tires soon I miss driving my car :sad5:

I have black cobras like those and I constantly have to touch them up... They're powder coated but everytime I take them off; no matter how careful I am , I always scratch one!So buyer beware. Chrome is a little lower maintence as long as they're kept outta the salt IMHO.

Ya I already found a set of stock 98 gt split 5 spokes that I am going to use till summer. I already got almost new tires for those. I am selling the sallens later in the summer though when I get a set of Deep Dish Black Bullitts with the brushed lips.
