Message: <blockquote data-quote="FivepointSlow" data-source="post: 1218993" data-attributes="member: 18995"><p>If you check for leaks in the CAI and the vacuum lines and all the electronics are hooked up properly it could be that the CAI air filter was saturated with too much oil and it is not allowing the engine to take in more air like it's designed to do. I made the mistake of having my sister help me when I was doing a tune up on my dads car, she put half a can of K&N air filter oil on his CAI without me knowing and when I started the car up it sounded and ran terrible. Engine started sucking in some of the oil and everything. Re-cleaned it myself, and put a light coating of oil back on it and it ran fine after that.</p></blockquote><p></p>
