Smog tube going to O/R x-pipe

Sorry if this question has been posted, just can’t find a definitive answer. 94 GT. Current setup is BBK long tube with catted X-pipe. Got my hands on O/R x-pipe. Does not have the smog tube inlet.
So my question is, without having to delete the smog pump, what is the best way to address the tube? I have read to just cap or plug it. But also read somewhere to leave it open as it might effect operation or throw a cel. Anyone give me some direction?

Im not versed in the windsor engine and its computer enough to give a solid answer, but someone here does. Just give it a day or so, others will chime in.

Most people instal non-smog aftermarket parts generally delete the smog system and of course it'll produce a check engine light. Im sure there is a work around or trick to the computer to make it think its smog compliant so that the engine light stays off.

Yeah, I have tried to look for a definitive answer without much luck. I have read to just leave the tube open, as all it is doing is pushing air and zip tie it up to frame. I have also read to cap the line. But read somewhere, that it might over pressure inlets on the heads and cause cel. I am wondering if the A answer is to try and weld an inlet to the x-pipe for the smog line.

You can remove the big hose going to diverter valves and leave the rest of the system in place, other than capping the small vacuum hoses that go to the tab and tad solenoids.

delete is the way i went
the smog tube on back of heads i removed
the cats i removed but you can leave them in up to you
the smog pump got a pump delete kit
vacuums plugged off
check valves and hose removed
egr removed got a dummy plug for connector and plate
the 02 left in
WITH NO MILL ON DASH
