I believe Moroso makes some that will work, but they're $$$. I've done some custom powdercoating on stock fox valve covers and they look great IMHO.

Must admit i have'nt seen any, the stock covers are shallow and a very close fit, if i had stock ones already i would look at getting them chromed, you know they fit at least. :)

they have nothing for our cars all foxbody, I found this out once I did my rebuilt motor with my stock hood, had to deck the block shave everything done to fit under stock hood, had to double up on gaskets and bearley fit under the hood I had to take off my strut tower brace and now the elbow and cai are in the way of my oil cap, I have to take my dam cold air all the way off to add oil damit! it was a bitch and had to use stock valve covers, im thinking of switching over to foxbody setup no intake elbow and a cowl hood so it will fit right.

Wait, since I am getting a 1995 styled Cobra R Hood(3" raise) could I switch the stock intake with the elbow to the standard fox one? if you that would make life WAY easier and cheaper, SN95 intakes seem to be around ~$100 more than fox ones :angry4:

they are the same intake with an elbow on them.
I know it's a direct bolt up, but if I get a 93 cobra r intake with the 3" cobra r hood, it should fit right? What about the air intake system? Would I have to get a 87-93 CAI kit for it instead?

Ya it will fit. You might have to do custom on the CAI but the fox one might work.

Ya the intake will fit... and if you have like a c and l cai you can twist it so it works with the fox t-body... I did to get my car running
at first... but I would bet it threw off the maf signal or somthing to that effect. I would have no complaints about the fox setup, except
I got a throttle cable that was manufactured wrong, and it doesnt open up very much, so I still have to find the right one
