Some Quick Teksid Infomation (STICKY ME)

For those who dont know.. i thought i would share what i have just learned with you guys in my build..

A quick difference between the Iron and Teksid blocks besides 6 bolt mains and huge weight difference is the Dowel Pins.. for those who dont know what those are they are little pins that your chain tensioner guides ride bolt in with on your front timing set..

On the Iron Block they are punched in

On the Teksid Motor they are Threaded, and in some instances not there (my situation)

IF you have them wich im assuming you dont rightnow, you will notice they have a bearing set up. Its pretty cool how they work and actually I think they are a better design

Awesome man, yeah i just need to order them on payday.. 2 or 3 websites want like 27$ a pin.. thats insane, but at the same time its one of those things you gotta have kinda deals

He couldnt make me a deal bro, i tried, but for some reason they were the same price as the other dealers in my area so i just went and picked them up..
