Buddy of mine just sold his escalade and got a Camaro RS. One of the lucky guys related to the 50 mil lottery winners around here.

So I said we gotta try a couple runs when I'm done.

Him: Camaro RS. 422 hp 408 tq Rated @ flywheel.

Me: 300+/- whp + 125 shot.

Depending on good driving what should be the turnout?

He's about 500+/- lbs heavier.

dont you mean ss? rs is a v6 300hp not 422, and a ss is 426hp for the ls3 6 speed and automatic ss is 400hp l96 motor, thats only options for new camaros

RS isnt a trim level, it is a package that can be ordered on V6's and V8's

the trim levels are:

LS, 1LT, 2LT, 1SS, and 2SS

the RS package is available on all trim levels but the base LS trim

If he has the V8 RS you'll need the juice and even if it's the V6 I might spray it just in case. Those things don't mess around. I raced an Intake/exhaust/tune SS at the track and barely pulled a car on him.

but fyi I dont kno where your getting the #'s from there is no new camaro thats rated randomly numbers of 422hp and 408tq, the base RS V6 3.6 liter is rated 304hp the ss camaro with a auto is a l96 v8 with 400hp and the 6 speed manual ss cars come with a ls3 6.2 liter with 426hp thats all the hp for all the models of the new camaro. so 422hp might be rwhp #'s with mods. but stock or modded they are not 422 crank hp.
