For some reason my vehicle speed sensor in my 94 GT is leaking. It has the 5 speed transmission. (Tremec brand T-5, correct?) Anyway, the thing is, the speedometer is working fine but the sensor seems to be leaking. There is no fluid anywhere around the hole in the trans, the only fluid anywhere is just running down the sensor and the wire to it. So its gotta be the sensor. So I pulled it out and its this one, but not motorcraft brand. Is that the only part of this thing capable of holding in fluid? Could anything else on there be causing it to leak? Since the sensor itself still works, should I just try to get a new O-ring or should I just buy a new sensor? Never replaced one before so I don't know all the ins and outs of the repair.
