The car then would have harder starts when engine warm and since it was mechanical and electric fan, the air disruption under the hood would cause un-stable engine idle. I eventually swapped the stock air intake box back in. Most Mustang aftermarket cold air intakes feed into the fender and draw air from there, not from the engine bay. If your intake air system draws air from the engine bay, this could be the culprit.</p></blockquote><p></p>
