stereo install help

I am installing a new stereo into my car and I am planning on buying a harness to do it. After I buy the harness is it pretty straight forward or is there anything I need to be ready for or any advice help tips you guys have?

edit: I do have the mach 460 system as well

Are you planning to change just the head unit and leave everything else the same?

There is a few different ways to go about it depending on what you are all putting in but don't let the mach system scare you its an easy job.

As of right now just the head unit..down the line I will do a sub/amp install just not yet
