Stock shortblock OK with 8lbs of boost?

I want to know if I would be ok with a stock short block if I run 8 lbs of boost. I wont be driving it like I stole it everytime I get in it, but I want to make sure I wont have any problems with anything breaking. this is only a street car, not a track car and I will be running some TFS heads with it. Will a fresh rebuilt 306 be OK with this?
