(the factory one mounts with 2 bolts going vertically into a tab thingy that stuck out of the firewall. 1998 and newer mustangs dont have this).the other issue you will have is the way the bar that goes from one side to the other goes. might not clear or it might hit something. if its a friend of yours, test fit it and see if it hits anything.</blockquote>
