ok... i has a 98 gt, 202k miles... i'm convinced its not the original engine/trans runs strong and shifts smooth and solid

i'm considering two options

full pi swap... i know a guy with a complete 04 engine/trans 30k miles... cpu harnesses everything 1100, i'd like to get that and some comp 262s... i like this option cause it'll gimme a nice bump with a lower mileage set up and leave me open for boost later, i could even go with the COPs which i like

pi swap... i have a friend who will help with the labor, whos recently done the swap, i'd be putting the same comp cams in this swap too, this option, i could prolly get it done a little cheaper than the first option and get a little more power...

what do y'all think? which option would you pick...

low mileage PI motor swap.

lower compression leaves higher boost options later on. still have a kick-up in HP. easy swap. lower miles. . ....

I would choose this option:

full pi swap... i know a guy with a complete 04 engine/trans 30k miles... cpu harnesses everything 1100, i'd like to get that and some comp 262s... i like this option cause it'll gimme a nice bump with a lower mileage set up and leave me open for boost later, i could even go with the COPs which i like
