just wondering if i swap a forged fox block into an sn95 (95) and just swap over all the accessories will it work fine with out codes comming up, check engine lights n stuff? im looking to build a base 306 with H/C/I and maybe go S/C later on. just wondering if this is possible.

and wat would be the difference if i keep the same setup ford used with the intake spacer or if i make it a full fox conversion. is there a difference in performance at all? would i need to swap over computers?

any info would help thanx :eek:ccasion14:

block is not forged... if you mean a forged rotating assembly it is the same shortblock wise so it doesn't matter. but putting forged parts in a stock block is a waste of money

isnt a 94-95 gt block flat top hypertonic pistons? fox blocks are forged from 85 to 92. im sayin the whole block not
just the rotating assembly.

85-91.5 were factory Forged pistons, 91.5-95 were hypertectic (sp). Everything else in the longblock is pretty much the
same to my knowledge.. But building a 306 out of a stock block shouldn't matter, since you won't be using the pistons.
