Putting a set of tall covers on to cover my roller rocker setup. Got a set of undrilled valve covers. What is the best solution for a fill tube and breather port?

Drill it and have a filler neck welded on if you want one. Or just drill it, shove a grommet and breather in there, and fill through the breather hole.

Using a grommet was the plan. So I shouldn't have any vaccum issues?

Nope. The crankcase is not a full vacuum environment like the intake manifold is.

if you grind the oil baffle out of the stockers, it will fit the roller rockers. also, the tall valve covers wont fit with the alternator in its current place. if you dont wanna mess with it, use Trick FLow valve covers, the stock height ones. they fit great, and dont bend like stamped steel ones. also, dont use the grommet, they are messy and leak oil. I used JB weld to hold mine on, and it doesnt leak at all.

I saw in the stickys that most tall covers wont clear the 94-95 alternator. Any solutions?

Mine cleared the alt by just a hair and a half. They are great, but I wish I would have went w/ fox valve covers because of the extensive mods to my throttlebody(even using a 1/2" spacer between the upper and lower and I am just able to close my hood)

I used a breather on the passenger side and a rubber oil cap/plug on the drivers side

"if you grind the oil baffle out of the stockers, it will fit the roller rockers"

I have heard people say this, but i've had 2 sets of roller rockers and the stock covers fitted neither.
As the stock covers are pretty well designed for pedestal rockers which are extremely low profile, the chances of the stock covers fitting any rollers are very slim.
As Paul says the Fox covers do, they went on mine without any mods not even to the filler neck baffle, they cleared the alternator, only a little grinding to the upper intake, no need for an intake spacer and the only problem was the Cobra intake breather on the drivers side, it hangs down to low and touched the cover so it just got blocked off and relocated to the side.

Yes i fitted some, but it took a bit of grinding everywhere else, they clear the alternator easily.
Now we dont have the intake\valve cover sticky its become a pain.
These are the same just that it says Ford Racing, using the Cobra brace.

I think i got away with a 3\8th [or no] spacer but i did have to grind the passenger side valve cover a lot under the intake and the intake itself a little, with a 1\2" spacer you would'nt need any grinding. I also removed the original oil filler blanked it off and put that cover on the drivers side as i'm sure it fouled the intake, and put a new filler on the passenger side but further forward of course
The reason i spent so much time and effort trying to get reasonable looks and the least screwing around with components was basically bad advice, everyone kept saying stuff would fit with little or no proof with which to back it up.
These have to be one of the worst cars ever to swap a set of valve covers on by a long way, buy a set off Paul and save all the hassle, even my Fox covers oil filler cleared the intake as below.

actually, yours are different, they're made for a fox and therefor only have one opening, the others are generic and have a location for a breather on each valve cover unless you've done some modding to the covers ;)

The top 2 pictures are Ford Racing covers and admittedly only have one filler neck, but otherwise are pretty much the same in every respect, and i'm betting whichever filler cap hole you use will foul the 94-95 intake the hole is almost dead centre no matter which side you pick, most of these covers for sale are not specifically for the 94-95 anyway as you know.
If you look at the top picture you can see how far forward the filler neck had to be re-located, that and there's some serious grinding of the ribs on top which you cant see.

The bottom pic are indeed Fox, just to show as Pauls sticky shows that they do fit, clear the alternator, and in most cases the filler will clear the intake.

i just got 2 fox driver side valve covers as the fill neck wouldnt clear the tb and drilled a hole in the passenger side, added a grommet with a lilttle bit of rtv in the groove, then added a dummy pcv valve and ran a 3.8 fuel hose to the nipple on the cai..... i will get pics tomorrow.....
