So it appears that my tensioner pulley or idler pulley is crapping out. Question is can I just replace the pulley on the tensioner or do I just replace whole unit?

Get out the long screwdriver, put it up to your ear and check them out and tell use which one is bad first.

Definitely find out which one is culprit first. To answer the questions though, yes the tensioner pulley can be replaced separately from the assembly. Remove the tensioner arm from the cover and you'll see the bolt for that pulley.

Twas the idler pulley. Already fixed. Thanks for replies fellas. And I'll keep an eye on the tensioner.
