Well today it got so bad that i was driving around with 0 oil pressure for to long. Usually it would shoot up and go down, but it just stayed @ the red line. I forgot i havent changed my oil and it was maybe due for an oil change. MY car was broken down with a bad clutch for about 1 month and a half so it just sat.

Kind of.. i put on a tire with about 10 % tread left but its gonna have to do till i get some money.


Anyways back to the oil. At the tire place i decided to get an freaking oil change (at a garage near by) which cost me $15 and yep yep yep. To my freaking dinging surpise. The oil was the culprit to my oil pressure problem. After the change im driving back to normal oil pressure level.

AS you can tell i dont know crap about cars as my 1st thought shouldve been to check my oil, but im learning slowly.


Thank god and im only out of $40 by fixing these two problems :TY: :TY: :TY:

Fifteen bucks for an oil change. Their idea of an oil change must be changing your oil into some guy's Honda and his oil into your car. I always do them myself.

I still gotta learn how to do an oil change =[ My dad is going to teach me since he usually does it on all 3 of his cars. How much is the average price of an oil change?

WEll, i have 6 quarts of shell oil in my garage when my dad was going to change my oil. So, i guess ill do another oil change very soon to put some nice oil in there. I only got the oil changed just to see if that was the oil pressure problem, not to keep the oil in my car for another 3-4k miles =]

So, all is good now.

i cant remember how much my oil changes costs me, but i think its like 70-80$. I use amsoil synthetic.

NEVER, EVER, under ANY circumstances would I use a Fram filter. If you wanna know why search around on Google, you'll quickly agree with me.

Motorcraft, or Wix is the only thing I'll use.

You should always check your oil. For it to have no oil pressure is not a good thing, but it would be really bad if it was b/c of something so easy and affordable as keeping oil in the car. Glad to hear she's fixed :thumb: Just keep checking your oil and change it regularly.

Truer words have never been spoken. Motorcraft or Wix only. Fram filters are garbage. Also, doing oil changes yourself eliminates the possibility of cross threaded plugs, the wrong filter being used, and the proper tightness of both when installed. I also let the old oil drain for at least half an hour. The thickest, dirtiest oil that drains last never gets drained out at the quick lube joints.

Think i spoke to soon as the tire :crying: Crap, well was in work today when about 1pm one of the pop vendors came over to me and said. \

Him: "YOu have a flat on your passenger back side"
Me: No, i got that fixed yesterday. (thinking he saw my car yesterday with the donut tire)

LOW AND BEHOLD :/ Same tire had a flat. So that rim is toasted :happydrunks: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: damn it. Money down the drain once again!

Its going to look so shitty with one shiny NEW chromecobra R rim with my older chrome cobra r's.. damn

I found one of my old stocker rims that has no bends in it. Im going to put it on there till i can order a new rim without using a damn credit card its going to look ghetto and my car is going to sit uneven since my cobra r's use 275-40-17 and my stockers are 245-45-17 :happydrunks:

Try to look around your area and see if you have anyone that repairs wheels. We have a few around here that can straighten the wheel out for pretty cheap.

actually the place i took to get my rim mounted on my tire yesterday repairs rims.. I just sat there and thought maybe i should do this lol. Im not sure because i heard its weakens the aluminum so im not sure what to do.
