i just rode in a 07' shelby GT500 procharged. :dancing6: the most amazing car ever. :boink: this car makes my 96 GT feel like a go-cart. it was so awesome. I will not sleep until i can drive my car again. i love mustangs now more than ever! lets see a honda do that :rollinglaugh:

07 was the first year of the newer body style gt500. those cars are crazy fast and respond very well to mods.. kb'd gt500s are
in the 700-800rwhp range.

I will never have either probably. If I could dream, I'd take both of them. I love the looks of the new GT500. You can never beat the sure power of my buddies 03 Cobra though!

both have plenty of advantages, 03-04 and gt500's. A hotrod DD, i'd say the gt500 would reign over all, but as a performance track car that gets beaten to death, terminator all the way. A gt500 does much better with 1000hp and being driven everyday then the terminators.

motor for motor I think the new gt500 engine is waaaaaaaaaay better. You do not and will not see a termi motor make more then low 600rwhp with a blower swap.

However KB has a blower kit that will alone make 800+ rwhp

But overall I would still want a termi.

The average Joe will never be able to afford a GT500. Ford priced the new ones out of reach. But with a little bit of financial wheeling and dealing, most anybody with decent credit can get a 03/04 Cobra.

I'm not real sure where you got that idea from, but there are HUNDREDS of '03-'04 cars out there with Whipples, KB's, and ProChargers that make well over 700 to the tire. Also, a properly sized Centrifugal will always make more peak power than a Roots or Twin screw on these cars.

considering its pretty much the same motor except the gt 500 is a 5.4 4v instead of a 4.6 4v....of course the gt500 motor is "better"


It will make more power and torque cause its bigger but that doesnt mean its gonna be a faster car.

didnt the hellion 03/04 cobra make far over 1000 rwhp?


that engine can handle pretty much anything you throw at it....besides, 600 rwhp termi is enough power to run what? 10s?
