Taking the rear cover off is no big deal. it is just that, a cover. Just make sure everything is clean and dry when you put it back together. But if it is leaking from the pinion seal, which is much more likely, take it to the shop and let them fix it. Don't tell them you took the car to the track, maybe they will warranty it for you since you had gears installed less than a year ago.</p></blockquote><p></p>
