aw come on, go big with a 150 shot lol. or are you keeping the shot low so you dont have to get a tune or something? i've been wanting to do ntirous but i just dont have the funds as of now. i was looking in to doing a 100-150 shot with tune and all the accessories. whats the reason on the small shot?

I used to run nitrous, a nice foolproof set-up will run you nearly 100 dollars. I'm talking rpm windo swithces, etc. 150 is a safe shot. The only problem is that spraying is adictive, and refilling the bottle is a pain.

i was figuring close to $2000 when it was all said in done. $1000 for the kit, window switch, bottle heater etc. then $500 for chip and tune, couple hundred for a fuel pump and so on. you dont have to step up injectors for a 150 shot do you?

100 dollars? i hope you mean 1000.

and a 35 shot is a waste..i would do atleast a 100 shot, maybe a 125..but a 150 is pushin it. with a 150, you will need a new fuel pump.

well, i'd up the jets whenever i get used to it. plus i saw something crazy the other day.

i watched these people at a shop hook nos up to a car, then whenever they ran it. it sucked all the vaccume out of the motor causing a brake failure, which put a car going like 100+ into a busy street. talk about close calls.

Our car's have hydroboost, no vacuum for brakes, so no worries there. A tune is a good idea, and by the time you get to your 2k mark, you've already paid for a Vortech S-trim, and haven't even filled your first bottle yet.

killer price and search for it and summit will match the price. Let me know the lowest you find I'm still deciding between roots and centrifical(both with intercoolers)

Occasionally vendors on the corral run specials on tuner kits for under 2k.

I have heard that too muck nitrous on our hyperutectic pistons that come stock on sn 95 s will snap the top of the piston off . It was from a reliable source. Im waiting till I get a forged bottom end. But a 75 shot should be ok on a healthy motor. I wouldn't go 100. If you go 150 I hope you have a spare motor. I may be wrong though.
