To the original poster, IF you're tight on funds, want to learn how to work on your own stuff, have a sucker for a friend or a strong back, and can afford to sacrfice a couple days to do it. You CAN do this yourself and just replace the throwout bearing...provided you don't find anything else wrong in there when you do take it all apart. IF you can afford to do it, replace the clutch.
