When I asked a tire rep how many miles to expect out of the GY's and he said 30k, that's the same as my Nittos (car was my brothers, he was in FL/CA for several years using the Nittos). After that I just began ignoring the treadwear. I have kept an eye on speed ratings though. I really think I'm over-complicating things. I think the Nittos will be fine, but just wanna make sure I'm making the right choice, because as a college student with a part time job $700 for tires isn't exactly easy to get.
