[QUOTE="massacre, post: 808533, member: 11752"] Forgot about the 'sploders.... And IDK how I would feel about any adaptor plates/etc. in my car. Everyone's different, though. For the swap, you are correct about swapping over the wiring, etc. The later 4r70w transmissions use a plastic circuit board, instead of the wiring harness, with actual wires. You'll have to swap over the actual wires, both shift solenoids, the EPC solenoid, and TCC solenoid. Don't forget the factory temp sensor. You'll also have to swap over your MLPS. Basically the computer will be looking for certain values(voltage, ohms)from the trans sensors, you gotta keep whichever sensors will be able to "talk" to your stock computer, which will be the ones you currently have. The newer sensors have different values and the trans will not shift. The older sensors will swap over to the new trans pretty easily. If you are handy, it doesn't require too much, just put everything back where it needs to go and you'll be fine. I used this site for my swap parts and saved a bunch of dough.....
