I had a Astro t-5 rated at 400lbs and I cringed every pass down the drag strip that I'd blow it up on motor, I never sprayed my motor with that transmission, I waited until I bought my T56 magnum. D&D says that the Magnum is rated for 750lbs of torque. I dynoed 742 rwtq, or about 900 lbs of torque at the crank. I'm 150 lbs over the rating for this transmission and it's shifting down the track like butter. I also put about 8,000 street miles on my car last year. Never a hiccup once at the track or on the street. It's worth every penny. I currently run a Spec 3 clutch with my trans.The only reason it will be ever come out of the car is if I decide to make it a drag car and put an auto in it.</blockquote>
