Oh, snap! While washing the car this morning I came upon this little donation. Pretty much smack dab in the middle of the hood (bonnet for wmac!).

How best to remove without damaging paint??

Thanks Rau and papa! I’m heading over to Home Depot after work to return couple things. I’ll pick up some stuff there.
I’m assuming go easy, don’t press hard to avoid damaging the paint?

start easy and you can add more pressure as you go but its nothing to worry all that much about. Maybe a light polish/wax around the area after and you will be good to go.

on glass, use a razor blade. On paint, the best success I have had is heating it up with a heat gun or blow dryer then wipe away with microfiber.

Little bit of warm water and a clay bar has always worked for me and doesn’t leave any tackiness behind.
Vinegar also works, but it takes a bit more effort.

I still say goo off is the best way
Let it set for a few minutes then wipe off
Without any scratches or scrubbing
I have removed many decals from vehicles
No problems
