Tremec T3650 oil questions

Hi all.
Can anyone confirm what oil I should use in a Tremec T 3650 gearbox?

what amount of oil is needed?

also can I fill the box up by pour the oil in the big square hole the shifter bolts to?

Recommended Oil and Fill Capacity:

TREMEC engineers have recommended Texaco-Havoline Dexron III/Mercon Non-Synthetic ATF.

I’ve tried Redline Synthetic and valvoline ATF and remain most satisfied with factory full Mobil 1 ATF after switching back.

I had an eye open once after running store grade dex3 and switching to royal purple. Lesson learned?....dont use store grade!

yes you can pour the fluid directly into the shifter location.

Tremec also makes their own fluids, if you want to go that route.
