The parts were powder coated satin black, I wanted a nice clean look. The materials he used to cover up the plaques from "discoloring" or melting off in the oven actually baked onto them which is why there is a gold finish on the plaques. So i got some nail polish removed and removed all of the gold material baked onto the plaques.
