They are the better of the GT40 intakes. They all use the same lowers (Explorer, Cobra, GT40) but the upper piece is what differentiates them. The GT40 is supposed to flow the best. They're not real rare, but they're uncommon to say the least. My friend has one on her 86 and is planning on upgrading to a Trickflow intake soon.

ya, its more for looks. the intake doesn't flow too much more than a regular gt40 though...

Yeah I saw one and thought about getting it. They had it listed for 275. I don't have the cash or heads so I just skipped it. I figure when I get heads I'll be getting a trickflow or holly sytemax.

man take that elbow off and rub the shit out of it with 120, 200, 400, 1000 grit then goto lowes / home depot and buy some stainless allen bolts to replace them rusty ones before you get tetanus :p

What I should do is do a fox swap but I don't feel like doing the work.

2-door loud ass mustang isn't exactly a car I wanna take my kids in :tongue3:

I'm thinking of just buying a beater as a dd and keeping the Mustang :icon_rr:

dude my kid loves my mustang. I'm turning my kid into a mustang nut. she can say mustang, cobra, Shelby, big block, small block, 5.0, 4.6, 5.4 and supercharged. of course she doesn't know what any of that is but its a start. I dunno how many times we get in the car and she goes daddy your cars says vroom i like that.

Haha trust me, you'd be paying top dollar for it from her dad. He buys cheap, sells high.

My car is obnoxious man.

My trans is built to with hold A LOT of power, it shifts so hard it will rattle your brain, it's not like a manual where you can make it shift like butter. There are 5 levels for the valve body...I had it installed at the #5 (Hardest). I thought it was not as firm as I wanted it so I had them replace a few springs to make it even better lol :icon_rr:

then throw a soft valve body in it and deal with the mushy shifts ;)
