so i got a 375$ out the door quote on some 3.73s for my car.

buttttttttttttttttttttttttt

the guy told me i could tune the speedo with a u174 or whatever the hell the diabo is for our cars. if my car was a late 1998 model. not a early 1998 model. he is full of shit correct?

i should have to use a dallas mustang speedcal... or possibally a xcal?? i thought the gauges in our cars were gear driven, not digital. or cable driven i mean...

You got it dude.

Diablosport has been working on support )or claiming too) for our car's for awhile now, but I think the computer just plain won't do it.

I know our car's have a mechanically driven VSS, like an adapter box, the newer car's use a different one, so i would imagine the part of the ECU that handles it is different too.

ha...im just gonna replace the gear when it brakes...it takes all of 5 minutes anyways.

that speed cal install looked complicated as hell...I decided to not even mess with it.

Complicated to clip a wire onto the cig lighter and plug it into the VSS? :hammer: How are you gonna install a blower man, lol
