Tax return time....mine should be in the mailbox on the 11th of feb. I'm trying to decide on if i should buy exhaust for my 95 from headers back(cost $1,100). or buy an On3turbo kit(cost $1,500). The Turbo kit would have to be messed with a little bit because i have a 351w in my 95 and it has a carb setup on it. which will require a B-T Carb....but i never seem to have enough money to buy a turbo kit, and this may be my only opportunity for a long long time. what should I do?

I vote turbo kit...looks like the kit comes with a downpipe as well...from the headers to the catback.

I say turbo, but how long is it going to take you to get the supporting mods?

new carb and intake are the main things. but those are within my reach as far as saving goes.

he has a carbed motor, so no need for maf, injectors, and no need for a new k-member? there will be some supporting mods, but mostly the blow through...

I had a bit of a brain fart on the injectors, I also checked on the K-member and I guess it's only needed for newer snives.

Depends... Are you planing on going turbo later on if you don't get one now? Because if you are, then you should probably just get the kit now because you won't reuse the full exhaust you purchase. Just a .02

If you go turbo with a blowthru carb, post up a build on it. I want to turbo my 67 but don't know crap about doing it with a carb and if I want to go through with that.

thanks for all of the input. After further research i have pretty much decided to just get the exhaust system for now. the amount of parts and money its goin to take to make this a turbo car is too much for me to handle right now. and i would like to drive this car sometime in the near future. so im goin g to get the exhaust for it and slowly start piecing together everything that im going to need besides the turbo kit. at least then i can have some fun with this car while im collecting all of the parts i need to make it turbo powered.

sounds like a great plan! just get some shorties instead of longtubes, since you'll most likely be replacing them with shorties for the turbo kit!
