I can't save up even $3k and buy a used one when I can spend about the same and get just about everything I need for a turbo, new. And save up $5k for a new s/c? Ha. That'll be the day my man. I'm struggling to save up the just under $3k I would need for an On3 kit with the k member and coilovers. I just can't save money for squat, don't make enough to save the $5k and get the car on the road by July, and just simply have no desire too. I only spent $5k on the whole car lol.
On3 was the intended route Foof. And should the day come I get a built motor then I will replace the On3 turbo, bov, and wastegate. Orangey basically dude, tho this might not make sense to anyone but myself.... The turbo is 10x easier for me to do than any form of s/c. Why? Cost. My logic is irrational I know, but it all makes sense to me. To install turbo: Manifolds Duct work Turbo Intercooler BOV Wastegate That's basically it. Little oddity's here and there, yes, but overall really not a hard install considering On3 has an entire kit already laid out. JS the kit I would be buying is newer than the one you had, I would have to guess by now they would have worked out any kinks your kit had, and hopefully didn't create more in the process. I've done some digging and more times that not guys recommend On3 to other people (on the forums.) They say that for a cheap kit it was actually well made and everything fit and functioned like they should. We'll see. I still have the towel, haven't thrown it in.... Yet... This car has been hell for me lol. Then you got my damn Jeep that everything has gone smooth on. I don't get it. O well it is what it is Turbo lag is gonna suck, no denying that whatsoever, but when it builds up all disappointment will be gone :)
