Ughhh!!!!

I got the car started and it ran smooth. Got everything all closed up to take it for a drive and it started making a rattling type noise. I started to try to chase it down and the belt blew apart

So this makes me believe the problem lies in the pulley system somewhere. The balancer pulley is in direct line with the rest of the pulleys. Im gonna try running it with the belt off to see if it does the same thing still.

this thing is driving me NUTS!!!!! LOL!

Power steering pulley. Maybe alternator to if you have aftermarket valve covers.

ck the bearings on the idler pullies and the movement of the tensioner spring too.

Well I went out and pulled the belt and found out I was dumb and didnt tighten down the water pump pulley. Also the power steering pump pulley is wobbly so Im gonna have to change it out. My idler pulley (the plastic one) seems a little stiff as well.

With the belt off it runs great. I have to do the surging idle fix though.

Finally got to drive the car

Whoever said the B cam with no head or intake upgrades would give no gains is full of crap! Its no high HP gain but it does have more torque and the butt dyno feels it.
