There was no noise that sounded out of place there, and if I were to be having PTV or anything like that, Im sure it would be louder with the valve covers off.But we put the valve covers on, and am still getting that valvetrain noise. We thought it could be the cam lobes hitting the valve cover, not sure how possible this is..Im going to call Hi-Tech to see what they think.At this point I'm going to just drive it if/till it breaks. The motor seemed to be smoking quite a bit, Im thinking because the gasket didnt sit right on the pass side..AGAIN..it might be residule from before bu tI dont know. At this point I'm going to take it to a shop.</blockquote>
