Valve covers are done!!

Well after trying different color schemes with the valve covers, I found one I like the best. Just plane old flat black with the lettering sanding with 2000 grit. I think they turned out very nice

2000 grit I would hit em with a polishing wheel and some compound.

I was debating about doing that, I like the darker spots in the lettering, kinda looks like black chrome. But to have it really shine would be nice as well

black and red is one of the most overdone and terribly executed styles in the car scene.

I have a set of those same valve covers that've been sitting in the garage for a few years. I bought them with the intention of doing something cool with them and powdercoating them, but I just never got around to it. I'll get to it someday!! LOL

Mine before looked close to this, but the lettering looked scratched and it wasn't painted all the way up the letter
