Just depends on the state, NY allows up to 8. Pretty much the only thing they've done right so far as far as laws go.

i hate front plates, mine is bent and looks like crap but i have to have it on.

95% of the time I run without my front plate, chances are a cop isn't going to stop you just for that, so play it safe the rest of the time and you should be good to go. When we go to the beach I put the plate on b/c cops purposely look for stuff like that there, it gets way out of hand. My friend got pulled over 3 times for no front plate before even getting into the parking lot, that's how bad it used to be.

i display my plate in my front window at the top.

ive been pulled over 3 times for it and they all let me off with a warning. i am not putting that stupid bracket back on the front though. looks so ghetto to me.

My buddy used to have "DVLWTHN"(Devil Within) on his bike, and WHTLTNG(White lightning) on his old '04 GT... when i finish my current 393 build, i want my plate to say "STRKD5.8" or "393PWRD"
