If its cold, and I want my top down, I cry. If its raining, and I want my top down, I cry. I cant always have my way, so I'll just hafta suffer I have my top down 70% of the time during the whole year, maybe more. Convertible mustangs differ from coupe because not only do the tops go down, but so do all the windows. Ford (and others) would not have gone through the trouble, if there was no need to. You think rear passengers love having the top down? People leave the windows up for these reasons: 1) window doesnt work 2) top doesnt close, and its cold/raining 3) cant hear/be heard on the phone 4) cant understand the concept of a hat, scarf, scrunchie. If Im cold, I blast the heater. If its cold enough that the heaters not enough I'll either pull over and put the top up, or just suffer the few extra minutes I have to travel. Its freezing at work, so Im usually already dressed for such an occassion. Those that complain about the wind shouldnt get a convertible. Either get a mustang with a sunroof, or a mustang with that glass roof... ...but if I find your windows down after the fact, theres going to be some eyes rolling. A girl at work told me about this other employee who also owns a red mustang convertible. She comments on how she didnt understand why he got that car as he hates the wind (and after woorking there for almost 3 years, I havent ever seen the top down) I told her that maybe he got the car because chicks dig red mustang vers, and that he didnt get it for himself, he got it for them. I one saw a mustang vert with the top down. The front windows were rolled down, but the rear were up. It was odd that both were up as he had no passengers, and the car was new enough to not have both window motors broken. Its kinda hard to forget to do something like that. But wind cancellation was out, trapping heater/ac was out, on cell phone was out. I had no idea why he did that. Maybe being a stock mustang that was all he could do to stand out. Besides, if its such a big deal, this can help:
