Vin number question?

Hi everybody I was looking threw the Haynes auto manual. and it tells you how to find your engine code go to the 8th digit on the vin. You should have 4,W,T,V or D. Mine is X ! I did a full swap from a v6 to v8. So I cant go on my original vin on my car. But I have the title to the v8. Can anyone help me figure out my engine code?

I read that if you have 11 valve cover bolts its a Romeo block and if you have 13/14 you have a Windsor block. Is that true ?

Same here I really only use the book for the check engine codes. See thats what i get for being bored at home and reading crap. LOL
