I have never been inside a motor and I installed cams and a vortech v1 with the oil feed lines on my 4.6 GT myself. It's a great oppertuniy to learn and the blower took me about 12 hours going really slow. And that included punching and drilling/tapping my oil pan. If you went with a self lubricated blower it would be WAY easy. Seriously it's jsut like one big bolt on install lol. BUT be VERY careful about IAT sensor placement on the intake tube. My Vortech kit put it BEFORE the blower. this means the car was reading intake temps before they were heated by the blower and could not pull the timing as accuratley to remain safe. I moved it after the blower and was VERY thankful I did. The tuner also gave me props for doing it haha. But you can get a bse tune for the blower and safely drive it easy to a dyno to be tuned. For tuning alone with no chip or anything expect 250-300 bucks for a good tune.
