Hi all,

I am about to get a V-1 kit installed on a 98 GT. I did some searching and I found some threads that would suggest an FMU is not
needed, IF, an SVT pump and 42lbs injectors are used. I want to confirm this if possible. I am getting the V-1 installed hopefully next
week and need to order a couple parts from Vortech before hand. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks, I am going to be getting a dyno tune after install, my question is if I need an FMU or not. From what I read I should not need
one, but I would like to verify this.

DO NOT run the FMU, use larger pump, injectors and tune.

you'll need to retune the car to run on the injectors though, so you probably need a basemap to get to the tuner.

not even sure an FMU will work on a 98 since they have the hokey pokey fuel system.
