MikeF, i have a nPI 4.6l, not 5.0l. but i do appreciate the advice anyways. i'm lookin for only 8-10psi. i live in Louisiana where it's constantly 80-95* outside and 80%+ humidity all the time. every non intercooled car i know has sent the engine to an early grave down here, some on conservative set-ups and less than 400rwhp. with our heat and humidity it takes an idiot not to use an intercooler. so thats why i'm wanting one.i'm being very careful. i believe in "you get what you pay for" but i also know about price mark ups and how to avoid them. I'm not looking for cheap parts. i'm looking for quality parts that haven't been market up by 2-3 different middle men.this is how the pricing works.Part is made for x amount. manufacturer than marks up before sale for profit. 2nd party buys all the individual parts, marks up again for their profit than assembles the parts as a "kit". They then mark up the price because they did a service in assembling the kit. The 3rd party store than buys the kits, marks up the price again for their profit before selling to the public.i'm getting what i paid for, and paying for only what i get.</blockquote>
