Hi there,

I've had an issue with my clutch pedal vibrating at certain RPMs (1200-1900, roughly) and I've given up on solving it for a couple years now. My father works in a transmission shop and recently got an sn95 New Edge into the shop, nearly identical to mine, and he said the only difference is there was some sort of 10 or 15 pound weight somewhere on the rear of the transmission that my car did not have. It is likely there for balance, I'd guess.

He didn't go too deeply into specifics, but does this sound familiar to anyone here? I'm trying to locate the part to see if I can order it somehow to finally solve this annoying vibrating clutch, but I have no idea what it's called. I know this is pretty vague. Anyone have an idea of what this weight is?

It was on the rear end. Not the transmission.

Put it up on jack stands in neutral and spin the wheels and move through the power train to the front. Put a dial gauge on anything that spins looking for runout.

I don't know any part number but I am sure I had that on my 99 V6. I don't remember if I kept it there or not lol
