I got a heat gun and scrapped the sound deadening out from under the carpet. That stuff is like tar and not the easiest to get up, (understatement of the century). After scrapping for the better part of the day, the heat got to me and my blistered hands couldnt take anymore...  I got the tar up from the tranny tunnel and under the rear seats. The chunks of tar weighed in a garbage bag at a whopping 11.5lbs. I'm sure more can be scrapped up if i had the deadication. i was just impressed by the the weight of that crap. There HAS to be an easier why to do it.</blockquote>
